The police rescued a dog that was left in car alone

In summer, when the temperatures is too high it’s important to be very attentive and do not leave our pets alone in hot cars, and as they are very susceptible in hot temperature they can die.

But un fortunatelly, according to PETA, every year nearly 30 dogs are left in hot cars, and as a result of it they die.

But this week this tragedy was able to be averted. A passer by noticed a 10-month-old puppy in the parked car and immediately called to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, in Florida.

Officer Steve Anderson arrived and helped the puppy to leave the car. The pup was crying in pain as the temperature in the car had reached over 100 degrees. The officers managed to rescue the puppy before it was too late.

The puppy was taken into an air-conditioned police vehicle to cool down and then brought it over to animal control.

And the Sheriff’s Office also arrested two suspects, Mecaila Page Johnson and Brandon Mclaren, on felony animal cruelty charges.

According to officer’s words, the dog was left in the car while the owners were shopping at the mall, and didn’t return until a half hour after the rescue. It’s safe to say that, without intervention, the dog would’ve died.

But luckily, now the puppy is in good hands and feels good.
