NYPD staff wrote this poor dog perched near Brooklyn Park. He was so skinny and looked bad except he was freezing in the rain. Animal control personnel released the dog from the chains. We don’t know how he got there, who tied him there. Looking at him, it was obvious that the dog was asking for help.
After rescuing the dog, they took him to an animal shelter and where he was exposed to the danger of euthanasia. One of his rescuers heard about it and decided to adopt the poor dog. The dog had not received love in his entire life, but one day everything changed.
He was adopted by Pascale who named him Joey. If he hadn’t, the dog’s life would have been in danger long ago. You can be a hero by picking up a dog or cat from your local shelter. They all deserve to have an eternally loving home.
