After his morning walk, the owner had to leave for work and the dog needed to be entertained. Normally animals sleep or play with their toys, but the dog in this story did not. The dog spent all his time at the window, watching what was happening outside the house.
When he arrived at work, the dog was immediately at the large window to watch the street. When she noticed her dog’s habit, she thought he was interested in passers-by and other animals walking on the sidewalk. One weekend, the woman noticed that the dog sat at the window for a long time, watching her intently even when nothing was going on outside.
The woman wonders what caught the dog’s attention. She looked out the window and saw a gray cat. He was sitting on the windowsill in front of the house. The animal was also watching the dog from the window and the woman realized that the dog was always waiting at the window for these encounters.
The dog quickly became very sad. He paced the house with a wistful gaze, occasionally approaching the window and walking away almost immediately. It turned out that there were flowerpots in the window of the house opposite and the cat could no longer sit in its usual position.
To make her animal happy, the woman spoke to the neighbor and asked her to remove the flowers so that the animals could once again enjoy their peaceful company. The next morning, the cat was sitting in its usual place, staring at the dog who had taken its place by the window.
