A Romanian non-profit dog rescue group called Howl of a Dog found this beautiful stray dog named Remy. He is in the same place every day, waiting for a good person to take care of him.
In these regions, dogs are mainly kept as a «tool» for protection or guarding rather than as members of the family.
There is also an old and cruel «tradition» that continues. For example, many dogs burn their noses with a hot iron to boost their immune system and prevent fever.
Despite his kindness, Remy never offered him a place to stay, but simply left him to his own devices.
While he was there, they tried to find him a home in the area, but no one was willing to take him in.
Fortunately, the rescuers decided to take him and began to look for him a family outside the region. An adorable dog, he deserves a happy home.
