Neighboring Poland received the largest number of Ukrainians fleeing the war. And the Poles continue to help us in every way. Therefore, we are grateful to this country and write about its stars with joy. One of them is Isabella Skorupko, who played the Bond girl.

Isabella Skorupko — model, singer and actress, often changing her place of residence (she was born in Poland, spent her childhood in Sweden, and now lives in the USA), hair color, men and occupations — was a model, singer, actress. The only thing that has remained unchanged is her beauty.
Movie star Isabella Skorupko (full name Isabela Dorota) was born in Bialystok, Poland in 1970, but only her childhood passed in this country. When Isabella was eight years old, her parents divorced and her mother married a Swede. So they moved to Stockholm. There, the girl graduated from high school, began to sing, dance and even write plays.
At the age of 18, she made her film debut in Sweden, starring in No One Can Love Like Us, which was filmed from a screenplay she wrote. The film, unfortunately, did not have much success, so Isabella decided to become a singer.
Her debut album, IZA, was released in 1991 and reached gold status in Sweden. However, Scorupko returned to the film industry, acting in series and films.
At the same time, Isabella was a sought-after model. Skorupko’s parameters are 88-62-89, height is 175 cm, weight is 55 kg. Therefore, she was in demand in the modeling industry, which even led to her appearance on the cover of Italian Vogue.
Isabella’s stunning looks earned her her first major film role: in 1995, she became Agent 007’s girlfriend in the James Bond film series Goldeneye and was chosen from hundreds of contenders by the producers, who paired her with Pierce Brosnan and were pleased with their choice. !
Nevertheless, in her next film works, the actress proved to everyone that she is not just a woman with unearthly beauty, but also has acting talent. So she starred in the classic Polish film «With Fire and Sword» directed by Jerzy Hoffman based on the novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz, which was an international success. The film also starred Ukrainian actors Bohdan Stupka and Ruslana Pysanka.
In 1999, she became the face of cosmetics giant Oriflame.
In the end, Isabella became a star not only in European but also in international cinema: at the age of 26, she married the Pole Mariusz Cielikowski and moved with her husband to the United States when he was invited to play in the NHL. A year later, the couple had a daughter, Dorothea, and a year later, Isabella divorced her husband. At the same time, she maintained a good relationship with Mariusz.
However, while her personal life was in trouble, her career went uphill. She has played many roles in many different genres in Hollywood.
Isabella has proven herself to be a versatile actress and has starred in films such as the sci-fi action film Reign of Fire (2002) and the horror film The Exorcist: The Beginning (2004).
During this time, she married a second time to an American, Jeffrey Raymond, and they had a son, Jacob, whom she named Jacob. For unknown reasons, Isabella also divorced her second husband and became a free woman.
Now the actress lives in New York and Los Angeles, remains incredibly beautiful and is in the spotlight. This year alone, she starred in two films, Hidden and Anna Beigl Zeigler’s Unbelief.
Once Isabella was asked: “If you could change one thing about your appearance, what would it be?”
She replied: “I would change a lot of things. But my mother taught me not to talk about what I don’t like about myself. Women love to be open. Women love to criticize themselves: oh, I don’t like my, shall we say, shoulders. And people are looking at your shoulders and thinking, my God, she has really bad shoulders, how did I not notice this before?! I think it’s very feminine and at the same time very silly.»
Support for Ukraine
The Poles have been supporting us since the beginning of the war with the Russian Federation. Using her popularity, Isabella draws attention to Ukraine and Ukrainians.
“I am very touched by Poland for supporting our neighboring country Ukraine in this terrible time for them,” our heroine writes on her page on social networks.
It is worth noting that Isabella loves animals very much. She is the owner of two pug dogs. In 2018, she sold her Glendale home for $1.25 million. She also owns a home in Los Angeles that is valued at around $6.5 million.
The actress is fluent in English, Swedish and French.
