German Shepherd Who Had To Fill His Stomach With Rope To Avoid Starving Now Is Looking For A Loving Home

This dog had a very difficult past that he is now trying to forget thanks to the dedication of the shelter staff. When he arrived he was very weak, he has since recovered but has not yet reached his usual weight.
Boss is a two-year-old German Shepherd who is going through a rough patch. His nickname suits him perfectly. He really has the strength and stamina of the boss.

A few months ago he was helped by the England-based RSPCA Cheltenham and East Gloucestershire Succours. The poor animal had only one rope to eat. His self-preservation instinct pushed him to chew and eat so as not to starve.
Of course, this replacement food did not provide the necessary nutrients and damaged his digestive system. When he arrived at the orphanage, he was very weak and needed to regain his strength.
With the help of rescuers, he got back on his feet.

RSPCA inspectors arrived in time, but Bosch required emergency surgery. He had a piece of rope stuck in his abdomen.
Fortunately, the operation was successful. “He was not well at all, but with care, attention and regular meals he is gaining weight,” a spokesperson for the charity told the Mirror.

Boss was also identified and vaccinated. He will be sterilized when he has reached his ideal weight. Meanwhile, the brave dog receives all the love and support from the volunteers.

Today, the German Shepherd is ready to start a new life. The RSPCA is looking for the perfect owners for this amazing dog. „Boss has the potential to be a great companion with kind but clear and consistent adopters who can meet his needs,“ reads the shelter’s recommendation.

Canid still needs to continue his training to feel comfortable, but one thing is certain: he will never go hungry again.
