A pair of tiny kittens lay under a bush. The mothers of the babies were nowhere to be seen, they had been alone for a long time and were very hungry. When the kittens were found, their bones were visible, but from that moment their life changed dramatically.
Montreal resident Katya heard someone squeaking in the depths of the garden. She followed the sound and found the kittens under a bush. The kids were scared and tried to call their mother for help, and they were also very cold and sat close to warm each other.
Katya hoped that the mother of the kids would return, but the cat did not come and her search did not bring results. It was cold outside, so it was impossible to leave the kids in the garden. The girl contacted animal rights activists.
Volunteers say that when the kittens were in the shelter, they were diagnosed with dehydration, the weight was much less than normal. The girl was very tiny, she was constantly cold and clung to her brother.
First of all, the baby was fed and drunk from the nipple, then warmed up. The cat calmed down and fell asleep.
Volunteer Erica took care of the crumbs. Gradually they grew up and gained strength.
Two weeks later, the kids caught up with their peers, recovered from their illnesses and stopped being afraid of people.
Volunteers accustomed them to solid food, their condition is monitored by a veterinarian.
Kids try to spend all the time together. The girl has a black color, she is shy, and her brother, on the contrary, is active and curious. Kittens play, eat and sleep together.
The kids were named Tosya and Yuri.
When they were 10 weeks old, the volunteers decided to find a new home for them, but Erica realized that she could not part with them and left the kittens for herself.
