This working week for Kolya turned out to be very difficult. The remains in the warehouses did not agree, the authorities put pressure on him. In general, the situation was extremely tense. Only an evening walk through the woods cooled Nikolay’s head a little. He was insanely glad that tomorrow would be Saturday — a day off, and working days would be left behind.
On Saturday, Nikolai woke up at about 10 o’clock, as usual. He went to brush his teeth and take a shower. During the morning breakfast, Kolya planned out all the things that needed to be done during the day: buy groceries, go to visit his parents, go for a run, spend time with friends. All in all, a normal day off.
However, this Saturday he had to break his plans.
At half past eleven, Nikolai left the house. He went to the store straight through the same forest in which he walked after work. When Kolya walked along the path, he saw something white in the thicket. At first, Nikolai was wary and even a little scared.
“Like a ghost,” he said.
Then Nikolai came closer and realized that there was nothing to be afraid of. A beautiful snow-white dog was sitting in the thicket.
“My friend, dear, why are you sitting here alone? Kolya asked.
However, when he got closer, he immediately understood the reason. The dog was tied to a tree.
Nikolai began to get angry again. What kind of cruel inhuman people live in this world? How can you just pick up and leave a dog tied to a tree.
Suddenly Nikolai saw that the dog was standing on a white envelope. It contained a letter written by the dog’s previous owner (as it turned out, the dog’s name was Dolphin). The boy wrote that his dysfunctional father hurts the dog and mocks him, so he tied the Dolphin in the forest to be taken away by kind people. Kolya teared up. He returned home with Dolphin.
