Woman finds abandoned dog near river with heavy anchor tied to her neck

One day, a Lithuanian named Odra Petrashkene and her daughter Andra Petrashkene were driving when they came across a wet, trembling dog. When they stopped to take a closer look, they were heartbroken.

Apparently, someone tried to drown this innocent dog by hanging a large metal box around its neck. It appears to have been a makeshift anchor attached to drown the dog in the river.

When Petrashkiene found the dog, it became clear that she had gone through a difficult test. He was trembling and scared. Although his persistence may have saved him from a near-death experience, Audra felt that he would most likely remain traumatized for life.

Petrashkiene brought him home, dropped the anchor and took him to the veterinarian. Luckily, the vet said he was in perfectly good health, apart from the stress caused by his abuse.

Enraged by what she witnessed, Audra tried to contact the owner of the dog. She posted information about the dog on Facebook, eventually finding someone who claimed to be the owner.

According to him, someone stole his dog and tried to drown it with an anchor. Even though Audra found the dog’s real owner, she contacted the police so they could make sure he had nothing to do with the crime.

It was eventually revealed that the dog and its owner were the victims of a revenge plot, and the owner’s neighbor was the man who had kidnapped and tried to drown the poor dog.

Today the dog is reunited with his owner, he is loved and taken care of.
